Located just 120 km from Mumbai, the 17 kms long coastline from Chinchani to Bordi offers beautiful beaches. Dahanu is famous for its fruit orchards and most famous for its chickoo plantations. Chinchani is famous for its dye makers, and Dahanu town itself for the its balloon factories. Other places of interests are the unexplored Bharot caves at Village Aswal, and various Jain and Hindu temples. Linked by western railway, the main station is Dahanu Road. Other railway stations are Vangaon, Gholvad, and Bordi Road. If traveling by road, turn west on the National Highway no. 8 (NH 8) at Charoti Naka. You can refresh yourself at Hotel Athiti, famous for its Parsi and other dishes. We recommend Hotel Hill Zill or Anand Resort for your pleasant stay at Bordi, and Hotel Pearline on Dahanu Beach
